Offshore Wind Forum to be held on May 1st
Representative Ron Gray and I are hosting an Offshore Wind Public Forum at the Indian River High School on Wednesday, May 1st, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. The purpose of the forum is to learn more about the proposed projects and hear from individuals and organizations both in support and opposition.
Expected speakers and presenters:
- Caesar Rodney Institute Center for Energy and Environment
- Representative from U.S. Wind
- Representative from Governor Carney's office
A Q&A session will follow the presentations.

We’ve been told that we won’t be able to see the offshore windmills from our beaches, yet BOEM’s own simulations tell a different story.
Tourists and retirees come to southern Delaware to enjoy the views and relax with beautiful sunrises. Governor Carney and DNREC wish to take that all away.
