ABOUT Ralph Taylor

As a servant of Jesus Christ, my priorities of faith, family and community are unwavering.  My wife, Jean and I have been married for (30) years. She is a master naturalist, wildlife rehabilitator (DCWRE) and we’ve co-owned The Bug Guy pest control service since 2012.  We have (4) very successful adult children and (8) grandchildren. 

For more than three decades, I’ve faithfully and enthusiastically served my community as a police officer, elected Capital school board member and elected Dover city councilman, where I chaired the Safety, Advisory and Transportation committee all (4) years.  

Dover has gotten the best of me and now I offer my wisdom, talents and abilities to the residents of the entire First State.  

The abilities to Guide, Train, Direct, Motivate, Inspire and Unite those around me are the foundation I utilize for effective and sustainable leadership. 

I’m a man of structure and discipline who was taught a strong work ethic by my 85 year old mother who, to this day, happily works (6) days a week doing “In home health care”.  Delaware, you will get the best of me!    

People often say, “Knowledge is Power”.  I believe “Knowledge is Potential”.  The power comes in the execution of that knowledge, to benefit those we touch!
